The main highlight of this property is the location. It's bang opposite the ghat 15 of Dal Lake. You can just come out of the hotel and get into a shikara :). Apart from the location, the staff at the hotel is very polite and courteous. They are always there to help. The manager at the reception was also very helpful and gave us a good deal as we didn't have any online booking and just landed up at the property. The food was also good. They usually have a buffet for dinner if they have a good number of guests. The breakfast had limited options but was of good taste. The only drawback was the room cleanliness. When we checked in, the floor of the room seemed sticky as if it was not mopped properly. However after highlighting it to the manager, he got it mopped and it seemed fine later on. Overall it was a good stay.

Location wise, rooms are all excellent in the hotel. However, for the 2 nights that we stayed, most of the time the lift didn't work (We had our rooms on the 3rd floor). Their restaurant and room service is abysmally pathetic. We placed one order for tea and snacks through room service that never was served and we had to cancel after 45 minutes. The dinner starts at 8PM and there was hardly any item. The breakfast is served after 8 AM and there was hardly a choice too. A walk of 100 mts from this hotel gets you plenty of very good hotels that might offer better choice and taste of food. The waiters were all untrained and they were too scared to interact with the guests.

Hotel Imperial Lake View is the best of hoteis with nice rooms and good meals avilable at best prices.The are very clean and a good view at the famous dal lake up front of this hotel. it was very good to work with Hotel Imperial Lake View as a team.we hope more work with the Hotel Imperial Lake View
